As our Sales Engineer you will:

  • Work closely with our team of Account Executives and Customer Success Managers in order to smoothly onboard new clients

  • Prepare and present product demonstrations, and answer complex technical questions

  • Demonstrate your knowledge of our clients' business model and detect possible challenges before they happen

  • Take care of and troubleshoot client issues

  • Assist your colleagues from Sales in securing deals by preparing top-notch API documentation for proposals and contracts.

In this role, you’ll join the Dealroom crew. An international team that enables Corporates and VCs to identify the best & brightest startups, unlock market insights to define go-to-market strategies and underpin investment decisions. As our Sales Engineer you’ll bring crucial expertise to the Sales team as our tech savvy liaison and subject matter expert on our global API. This translates into being the technical conscience of both Dealroom and your clients. Utilize the knowledge from your technical toolbox to transform technical jargon into digestible information for high-profile entities like PwC, Amazon and Microsoft. Develop captivating stories that will maximize the pre-and post sales experience and get our clients up and running. You will enable customers to get premium access to the Dealroom global startup database and our API, which enables clients to integrate our data into their daily workflows. Given our explosive growth, high ambitions, and the high speed in which the tech sector evolves we are looking for a go-getter. Job requirements

Open the negotiations if:

  • You combine a Bachelor's degree with at least 2-3 years of experience in a similar role

  • You have a strong technical understanding of integrating cloud services using APIs

  • You know how to explain complex technical information to both technical and non-technical (executive) audiences

  • Your list of accomplishments includes writing pre-sales technical documentation

  • Despite being techy - being commercial is your second nature

  • You know how to connect APIs when onboarding clients after they have been closed

  • You have a strong understanding in domains such as SaaS solutions, API platforms, implementation or Cloud software, etc.
