The rapid expansion of Dealroom.co requires an experienced and ambitious Product Marketing Manager to scale and further build upon the existing digital marketing efforts and drive sales success.
As a member of the Marketing team, the Product Marketing Manager is mainly responsible for translating our product features into powerful messages across multiple channels, including landing pages, our data platform, in-app notifications, social channels, emails (to new and existing users), sales collateral and online ads.
You will be holding a key position in shaping the growth of our company. By driving, developing, and executing initiatives to market Dealroom’s products and product features and raise awareness of our user base. Having a genuine passion for technology, startups, scaleups, and venture capital markets, you’ll be creating compelling content that drives leads into the sales pipeline. This involves copywriting, but also requires taking a step back and thinking more strategically about brand positioning. You’ll work to create consistent messages for our four stakeholders in the startup ecosystem: governments, VCs, corporates, and startups; and with more tailored messages for each of them, at times.
This role is highly visible, acting as a launchpad for further career development, a position allowing you to evolve alongside the company as we scale. As a Product Marketing Manager, you will:
Create and execute integrated marketing campaigns and product launches to drive awareness, engagement, and adoption among our target audience
Perform market and research analysis to position our product in the competitive landscape
Co-create product pages, sales decks, one-pagers, and other collateral that is highly reflective of our products and positioning to promote sales
Work closely with the Product team to stay on top of upcoming feature releases to create go-to-market and product launch strategies
Conduct primary and secondary market research to inform the go-to-market strategy, target segments, and messaging for our key audience
Turn our product and features into compelling narratives that resonate with our target audience
Become an expert in market problems, buyer pains, and Dealroom’s solutions by spending plenty of time with our customers and product team

Who you are / Background
Bachelor's degree or higher
At least 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience, in a creative marketing role
Experience positioning products and growing user bases (Software as a Service experience is a plus)
Ability to develop, validate, and refine value propositions, positioning, and key messaging
Excellent business judgment, strong written and oral communication skills
Project management skills to keep track of the product roadmap and work alongside it
Ability to work in an ambiguous and fast-paced environment
Customer-centric mindset with an understanding of how to use and translate data into meaningful, actionable recommendations
Interest in technology, startups, venture capital is a plus
A self-starting attitude with a hands-on and pragmatic approach to getting things done
Comfortable with working in a multicultural and fast-growing startup work environment
Available to be physically in the Amsterdam office a few days a week
