The rapid expansion of Dealroom.co requires a true and ambitious Head of People & Culture experienced and eager to scale a highly international and fast-growing team, at the heart of the global startup ecosystem.
In the next growth phase of Dealroom, full focus and dedication will be given to scaling our international team, safeguarding our culture whilst developing individuals and helping them be successful. The Head of People & Culture will operate at the heart of the organisation, reporting to the COO. Various projects will be initiated, such as developing a next-phase People & Culture strategy, including but not limited to employer branding, personal development, learning, and reward.
In parallel, you’ll stay focused to not lose an eye on daily HR operations such as accomplishing our ambitious hiring roadmap and be hands-on in supporting our teams to attain, cultivate and grow the existent talent. This also requires implementing or redeveloping HR processes in the employee journey, facilitating the growth of the company. Alongside this, you’ll act as an advisor to the management team.
This role is highly visible, acting as a launchpad for further career development, a position allowing you to evolve alongside the company as we scale. You should be genuinely interested in working for a growing SaaS company operating in the startup & scaleup environment and ready to work closely with shareholders, management, and the finance team. As a Head of People & Culture, you will:
Develop a vision and strategy to attain and develop the team to reach our growth goals for the next 3-yrs
Clarify our current culture, and develop it. Who are we, what should we evolve?
Help drafting the goal-state org-chart
Continue the direction taken of personal development, including reward, perks, and training
Support the team and team-managers on daily people-cases
Recruit, but also manage recruiters (internal, external, interim and project-based)
Works with teams to setup job descriptions, and improve recruitment processes
Improve our employer branding throughout the various channels
Scale processes driving compliancy (contracts, payroll and taxes) and improve reporting
Build a people team, strong and skilled to facilitate the company growth trajectory

- Around 7 years of relevant work experience, with recruitment or people-operations background
Familiar with and have been part of a growing startup/scaleup with an international workforce
Interest in technology, startups, venture capital is a must
A leader who knows the balance between delegation and being hands-on.
Comfortable with working in a multicultural and fast-growing startup work environment
Available to be physically in the Amsterdam office about 3 days a week
Bachelor's degree or higher, in Human Resources or Psychology
