The rapid growth of requires a diligent and hungry Financial Administrator to run and improve our financial administration. A position allowing you to expand along with the growth of the company, with the potential to become the head of finance and business control. As part of the Finance & HR organization, the Financial Administrator's main objective is to manage our financial administration on a daily basis. Operating the accounts receivable and payable accounts through effectively utilizing our ‘administrative tech-stack’, consistent of Exact Online, Transferwise, Spendesk, ING, Hubspot, Tableau and of course Excel. The Financial Administrator will lead and improve the month and year closing process. And will act as a liaison between the administration and payroll provider.

Job Description

The Financial Administrator will:

  • Manage accounts payable & receivables, including the reconciliation of bank accounts and payment portals (i.e. Spendesk, Transferwise, etc)
  • Examine, analyse and reconcile records, preparing journal entries and general ledger bookings
  • Enhance and run the month and year-closing process
  • Contribute to departmental budget control, project budgeting and scoping.
  • Be responsible for Payroll and HR administration, liaising with external payroller and authorities for various topics (i.e. 30% ruling, Visa applications, WBSO)
  • Run projects to enhance the professionalism of our business, review of insurances, investigation of pension plan, Employee Stock Incentive plans.

Job requirements

Who you are / Background

  • 2 to 5-years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a tech-heavy SaaS BtoB environment
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills
  • Accurate, organized, ability to prioritize, proactive and ambitious
  • You have a passion for technology, startups, and venture capital markets.
  • Comfortable with working in a multicultural and fast-growing start-up work environment
  • You genuinely believe in building and promoting healthy, long-lasting customer relationships
  • EU citizenship or already in the possession of a Dutch working permit
  • Fluent in Dutch and English. Any additional European language is a big advantage.
