Ecosystem Account Manager

The rapid expansion of Dealroom.co requires an ambitious, outgoing, and startup-oriented Account Manager to support the Ecosystem team, acting as the first point of contact for Ecosystem clients and stakeholders.
As part of the Ecosystem team, your main objective is to support the team in implementing one of Dealroom’s core products, the Ecosystem Solution, providing ongoing and proactive support to existing clients including but not limited to onboarding, training, outreach campaigns, regular check-in, and various other retention and relationship building activities.
The Ecosystems team’s mission is to map startup ecosystems for governments, and public-private agencies committed to accelerating and fostering the growth of their local ecosystems. Providing them with data, insights, and visibility for their local ecosystems. Some of the current groups we support include Tech Nation, Start Alberta, Invest Atlanta, La French Tech, LaunchVic, and many leading hubs around the globe. We are now ready for the next phase.
Your role will be to strengthen relationships with our existing clients and key stakeholders to help them exceed their performance objectives and increase product impact within their role and organization. Your tasks and responsibilities
As an Ecosystems Account Manager, you will:
Act as the main point of contact for Ecosystem clients. And support the clients throughout the customer journey, from onboarding to retention
Work with clients to develop a plan driving value, engagement, and business growth
Grow the portfolio of our client base, focussing upselling and cross-selling
Regularly communicate updates with clients about new product updates and features
Liaise with internal teams to share client feedback, insights and identify new/additional revenue opportunities
Identify and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders in order to create Dealroom champions and generate referrals
Establish a regular cadence with your client accounts, including conducting quarterly business reviews, value-add reporting, and other engagement strategies to deepen relationships
Coordinate and facilitate cross-functional collaboration, together with Data and Research based on clients needs

2-5 years of hands-on Account Management or Project Management experience in a startup, economic development organization, Software as a Service company, or related organization(s).
Familiarity with SaaS-based technologies is advantageous
You have a passion for technology, startups, and venture capital markets.
You genuinely believe in building and promoting healthy, long-lasting customer relationships
Self-motivated, detailed, able to prioritize, proactive and ambitious
Fluent in English. Any additional European language is an advantage
Have a strong sense of urgency, which translates into a high-volume result-driven output
Comfortable with working in a multicultural, remote, and fast-growing startup work environment
