The rapid growth of Dealroom.co requires an experienced Content Manager to scale and further build upon the existing marketing efforts. As a member of the marketing team, the Content Manager will drive, develop, and distribute content across various channels such as email, social, paid, and our website.


Your main responsibility is to create awareness for Dealroom’s products and research reports. With a genuine passion for technology, startups, scaleups, and venture capital markets trends, you’ll be creating appealing content driving leads into the sales pipeline. You’ll be working with colleagues across departments. The Intelligence Unit will provide you with comprehensive reports on market trends and insights, allowing you to create valuable content like social media posts, summaries, e-mail copy, guides, case studies, landing pages, and more. Working with the Sales and Customer Success team, you’ll be creating sales enablement collateral such as product updates, whitepapers, and testimonials aimed at driving the number of leads and engaging with our current client base. As part of the marketing team, you’ll be making sure the content on our website is up to date as well as creating landing page outlines and copy. The optimization of content for SEO is also part of your core responsibilities.

Job Description

The Content Manager will:

  • Set and implement social media and communication campaigns in alignment with our marketing and content plan
  • Initiate, create and deliver lead-generation campaigns together with our Growth Marketer, articulating Dealroom’s value proposition
  • Draft engaging copy and work with the graphic designers to create appealing visuals to promote Dealroom’s thought leadership (i.e research reports, insights, trend)
  • Promote Dealroom’s products, case studies and testimonials, and our website landing pages
  • Drive demand and usage of our products, including writing positioning and messaging, launching new products and features, and enabling marketing, sales, and customer success teams to be successful
  • Partner with sales, customer success, and product development to uncover insights into our customer use-cases that strengthen our value proposition development

    Job requirements

    • At least 3-years experience in a business-to-business content role, managing content for web, blog, email, or social channels
    • Broad experience with writing copy for different mediums and audiences
    • Ability to work with internal content and graphic design team to create engaging content and editorial calendar
    • Have a passion for technology, startups, and venture capital markets. Experience in a previous startup or scaleup, and having an understanding of the VC-market is beneficial
    • Experience with CRM tools, performance tracking, keyword research, and SEO optimization expertise
    • Able to coordinate with multiple people both internally and externally
    • Proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop, or InDesign
    • Have a strong sense of urgency, which translates into a high volume results-driven output
    • Comfortable with working in a multicultural, remote, and fast-growing startup work environment
    • Living in the Netherlands or UK with an EU citizenship or already in the possession of a Dutch or UK working permit
    • Fluent in English.
