Job description

The rapid growth of Dealroom.co requires a keen and curious Business Analyst to help us unlock the next stage of our growth with data driven insights. You are equipped to access our internal CRM, Accounting, Google Analytics databases to aggregate the required data, and create insights that go beyond the standard dashboards to streamline information between Marketing, Sales & Finance.

As part of the Operations & Delivery team, you’ll help deliver projects to create a 360-degree customer view by integrated data flows allowing us to optimize customer value.

Example projects required to support our business in achieving our goals:

  • Perform user-analysis to discover growth opportunities across the funnel

  • Perform campaign analysis to help marketing and sales teams understand which campaigns performed well and why and which didn’t

  • Ensure data quality across our sources: Google Analytics, Hubspot, Mixpanel

  • Perform one-off analyses to inspire discussion around product, marketing, and sales growth

  • Provide actionable data-driven insights to the operations team and wider org to support project prioritization by helping us identify high impact initiatives

Your work will also help in continuously validating our company strategy, and you will get a chance to work closely with various teams to help us optimize the customer funnel.

Your tasks and responsibilities

As a Business Analyst you will:

  • Support your internal customers in their day-to-day reporting needs, and help them on longer terms projects to improve business insights

  • Own the internal business insights landscape

  • Drive data-quality & integrity and drive the integration of data flows and tooling within the Lead-to-Cash cycle

  • Work closely with Sales, Marketing and Finance on a day to day basis

Job requirements

  • 3-5 years experience in a business analytics role preferably for a SaaS company (understanding lead generation and sales cycle etc.)

  • Great analytical skills

  • You are curious about SaaS-metrics, growth and data beyond just making dashboards (growth hacker mindset)

  • Experience data crunching and making reports (data driven approach)

  • A problem-solver and great at translating strategic goals into solutions. You know what questions to ask, and how to find the data points to build solutions.

  • We are open to hiring remote, however have a preference for someone who can spend some face to face time with the team in Amsterdam a few days a week.

  • Excellent oral and written English

  • Comfortable with working in a multicultural, remote, and fast-growing startup work environment
