The rapid growth of requires a diligent and hungry Account Executive driving new sales to reach our ambitious targets. You’ll be given the opportunity to own end-to-end sales processes, identifying, creating, developing, negotiating and closing high-value opportunities.

By driving the entire commercial process you’ll have a major impact on the success of our business. Existent segments will be addressed and new verticals will be targeted. A position allowing you to expand along with the growth of the company. You’ll report to our CCO and will be working closely with colleagues in Marketing, Sales, and the Intelligence Unit to improve and utilize our content assets.

Job Description

The Account Executive will:

  • Identify, create, develop, negotiate and close high-value opportunities across verticals and segments
  • Provide product tours, identify needs and help prospects understand the value of our data based on their use through showcasing meaningful and genuine relevant insights
  • Work closely with marketing, the Intelligence Unit, and sales colleagues to execute on account/segment/vertical-specific sales strategies
  • Develop and grow our visibility across multiple levels within the customer’s organization, in accordance with our Land & Expand strategy
  • Operate Hubspot workflows and standard automation to improve efficiency
  • Utilize relevant insights through Hubspot’s reporting capabilities continuously improving effectiveness
  • Follow industry trends, events, and the competitive landscape through personal research in order to help identify sales prospects and opportunities

Job requirements

Your background

  • At least 3 years of experience in a sales role in a B2B SaaS environment
  • Prior experience with organizations part of the Startup & Technology ecosystem (Governments, Venture Capital, Technology corporates, Accelerators, etc) is highly advantageous
  • Dedicated to building a pipeline through targeted and strategic outreach, personalized content, and demonstrations of thought leadership in the industries we serve
  • Track record of selling and closing (full sales cycle) SaaS or related products or services
  • Experience with creating pricing proposals, negotiating terms, and managing the contract process
  • Strong sense of urgency, which translates into a high volume results-driven output
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to adapt communication style to various cultures
  • Experience in using CRM systems with attentiveness to pipeline maintenance and administration
  • Have a passion for technology, startups, and venture capital markets. Experience in a previous startup and having an understanding of the VC market is beneficial.
  • Comfortable with working in a multicultural, remote, and fast-growing startup work environment
  • Living in the Netherlands or UK with an EU citizenship or already in the possession of a Dutch or UK working permit
  • Fluent in English. Any additional European language is a great advantage
